Our Founder and “Im HER2, inc”

I'm HER 2, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded by Felicia Kent, a breast cancer survivor who triumphed over HER2 triple negative breast cancer. Felicia's mission is to provide cancer care kits, vital resources and out of school and afterschool child care to those still undergoing treatment and facing this challenging battle. 

She initially established a welcoming space for individuals to share their personal journeys with breast cancer through peer support, recognizing that connecting with others who understand your experience can promote healing and hope. This inspired the creation of “I'm HER 2, Inc.”, which offers resources to help navigate through chemo, radiation, and everyday life. Our programs include Cancer Prayer Kits, Joy at Christmas, Back to School Backpack Bash, and Empowering Youth Child Care. Our goal is to alleviate the stress families face during this journey, allowing them to cherish their time together.

We also provide peer support groups designed to offer comfort, encouragement, and a sense of community for both patients and caregivers during these difficult times.
